The commission
How a custom hat is made
Starting at $500
Priced to the design, materials, and handwork involved. Every commission is quoted individually after consultation.
Complimentary consultation
We discuss proportion, block, brim, finish, ribbon, and how you intend to wear it.
Materials
Wool felt, rabbit felt, hare felt, beaver felt, and premium blends.
50% deposit
A deposit secures your place in the bench schedule and covers material sourcing.
Remaining 50% before delivery
The balance is settled once your hat is complete and approved.
Approximately 3–4 weeks
Complimentary shipping of the completed hat.
You do not choose a hat from a shelf. We create the one that belongs to you—and may one day belong to the generation after you.
